  • 2012 –Today

    Continuity In The Hands Of Young People

    After 32 years of continuous presence in beekeeping Thomas Fotis retire. The reins of beekeeping family assumes his nephew, Manthos Fotis. She collaborates with the brothers Kostas & Panos Matatsis. Together they create the Epirus Farm. A beekeeping unit aims to highlight local honey, Epirus, in Greece and worldwide. The initial investment concerns 100 beehives and is continuing apace. There is also a business plan for developing modern beekeeping unit with modern equipment in the coming years.

    Professional Beekeeping

    After 1980, a son of Manthos, Thomas, experience the decision to engage in professional beekeeping. During this time you create a beekeeping unit with modern equipment and with an emphasis on tradition and quality. The activity is nomadic and name Fotis interwoven with quality honey of Epirus.

    Amateur Beekeeping
